Cynthia Cannon was reported missing to police by her husband Friday after reportedly failing to return home Thursday night or to work on Friday. Wolcott Police began a search for her which Sunday turned into an investigation at her Spindle Hill Home. As of Saturday evening, there appeared to be few clues reported in Sunday’s Waterbury Republican – American.
As of Sunday evening, news reports say that her 2005 black Jeep Liberty with CT License plate 258-PMV was found on Cemetary Rd., just over a mile from her home off of North Main St. A sleeping bag was also found on Woodtick Rd. Additional evidence is being collected by Wolcott and State Police at her family’s home. Cindy is reported to be about 5’6″ and a photo may be viewed on the Republican- American website.
Acting Police Chief Neil O’Leary named Cannon’s husband as a person of interest at a news conference Sunday evening, according to WTNH.
