Supporting Sandy Hook

     State Police have urged anyone who needs help discussing or coping with the Sandy Hook shooting and is connected to the Town of Newtown, can call 203-270-4283. The number is being staffed by mental health professionals from Yale- New Haven Hospital.

Infoline, which can be contacted by dialing 211 from any phone, is also available for any resident in Connecticut that would like to talk to a professional about any kind of emotional trauma or disterss.

The Connecticut State Police would like to direct anyone who has any services to offer those who were traumatized by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.   All interested parties offering any type of assistance please call the 211 Infoline. Any victims’ or residents’ who may need any type of assistance should feel free to contact 211 infoline to access these offered services.

Assistance may include, but is not limited to, victims’ assistance agencies, counselors, Religious or ministry services, dog therapy, transportation services, and any other type of support goods or services. 211 infoline is prepared to accept all offers and assist those in need.
