Congresswoman Seeks Feedback Through Local Forums

by Christopher O'Brien

With the Obama administration quickly gearing up to launch cruise missle strikes on Syria, Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty is holding two opportunities for residents to provide feedback on Congress.

The two events, titled “Congress on Your Corner” will be held this evening in Torrington and on Wednesday, Sept. 4th at Cheshire Public library. “We can talk about what’s going on in Washington or a problem you’re having with a federal agency. My District staff will be on hand, and we will do our best to assist you,” Esty writes in a press release. “With Congress about to head back into session, I want to take the opportunity to get more of your feedback.”

No appointment is necessary for the two sessions:

Torrington at the Main St. Marketplace downtown – August 29th 5:00 – 6:30 pm

Cheshire Public Library, 104 Main st.  – Wednesday September 4th 6:00 – 7:30 pm
