Stolen Car Leads to Chase, Lockdown

by Christopher O'Brien

WolcottPoliceCarFive juveniles are in police custody after leading police on vehicular and foot pursuits through the Woodtick section of town Wednesday morning. The chase caused Frisbee School to be placed under a lockdown for a period of time just after students arrived.

After signaling the vehicle to stop, the operator instead sped south across Nichols Road and into the Baseball Association of Wolcott complex. The driver drove through the complex and when he realized there was no way out, turned to drive across one of the ballfields.
