Trash Collection Schedule Changed for Holidays

by Christopher O'Brien

Residents with Thursday morning pickups will have their collections delayed one day so that collectors may enjoy the holiday off with their families. Those residents can place their garbage out on Thanksgiving eve for a Friday pickup. No recycling will be picked up on that day either. Because of the schedule change, collection times will be later than usual.

Also, residents who normally have trash pickup on Wednesdays will see their pickups delayed for Christmas and New Year’s for one day. Those residents’ collection days will be on Thursday Dec. 26th and Thursday Jan. 2nd. Recycling again will not be collected on those days and collection times will be later than usual.
